Polyester, the standard in sportswear.
Most sportswear is made from polyester, a petroleum-based plastic fiber. Worn for hours against warm, damp skin, it can contain harmful substances and releases microplastics with every wash.
ZONY is changing the rules.
Zero petroleum-based fibers. Only plant-based fibers, in close contact with your skin.

To imagine a different way of dressing, we drew inspiration from the regions of the world where people live the longest and in the best health.

Creating a healthy garment is about more than just choosing a fabric. We carefully select our materials and partners, one by one.
Materials selected at the source
We have chosen PLAX™, a sugar cane-derived fiber, OEKO-TEX® Standard 100 certified and tested for harmful substances.
The power of plants
Instead of petrochemical fibers and recycled plastics, we have chosen a plant-based fiber, valued for its natural properties: it is antimicrobial and helps reduce odors.
Partners we know
We work with a limited number of partners, chosen for their expertise and working conditions. Our collections are made in a workshop in Guimarães, Portugal.
